There’s so much I can type.  Truth is I’m still in shock at the news that Lawrence “DJ Law” Brown passed away over the weekend.  I will miss those Happy Mother’s day texts, every year, no matter where I was, from out of nowhere, here comes a text wishing me Happy Mother’s day from DJ LAW.  I mean we had not spoken in 4 years, but he’d text me Happy Mother’s Day.  How thoughtful.  He reminded me, when we worked together, how I got him into radio.  He said that I was on the air overnight on 103 jamz and he was my fan (imagine that).  He called to request a song and asked me how to apply for a job there.  I told him, he did it, and was immediately hired.  I must admit, I was mixed with pride and jealousy to see him advance so quickly in the business, but I sincerely loved him.  The Boodah Brothers……my brothers.  R.I.P.  DJ LAW.  You are already missed.
