Whew! It’s been a while since I shouted at you.Blame it on me,cause that’s where it should be placed.Yes I’ve been busy,very busy,just like you I guess,but that’s no excuse.I have had my joy jacked by this cold icy weather,but I can’t get by with that .I spend a lot of time on facebook,and yes I type like a fourth grader…but hey I should have blogged.I know it,you know it,errbody knows it.I can say I’ll do better,but what does that mean?Until you can look back down the road months from now and say”That brother said he was going to blog more and he did mein” it’s an empty statement,just a bunch of words….And it’s not like there’s not a lot to talk about.The dude who flew his plane into the IRS office(insert joke here).The woman who was drowned by a killer whale.The nude church here in va.The SOL drama.The gov. in s.c.Gays in the military.Women on subs.(I mean the ship in the navy for all y’all freaky folk).Tiger Woods.Haiti.Valentine’s day.The Superbowl.Weight for a man.Way too much snow.My  homegirl coming to a crossroads in her life.There’s a lot going on,and we need to talk about some of it right here.I promise to try and do that . BUT…I’d like to ask something of you if I could…If you can find it in your heart,and your time to check on me now and then,and remind me to keep my blog tight.I will be in your debt. I was over at Va.Wesleyan last night.They’ve opened a homeless shelter on campus for the week,providing food and…you guessed it,clothes.I hope to make another trip this week,this time with a van load of clothes.If you can drop off a few things at the studio this week,great.236 clearfield ave.in va.beach.497-2000.THANK YOU.

Well,here  we are into 2010.It seems like the holidays went by in a flash,although I had a great time.For the first time in YEARS,Sonia and I chilled at home the entire day.It rained hard most of the day,so I just ate,watched tv and enjoyed my family.We ate breakfast with our next door neighbors.I discovered a dish called “funky grits”.Trust me it’s nothing new.It’s plain old grits with cheese,eggs,sausage,and maybe some mushrooms,etc.BUT.It was good man.Now that the new year is here,errbody’s talking about losing some pounds,just like last year.I can’t front I want to lose a few myself,so lets all pray for each other,cause I’m getting hungry as I type this.I also resolve to drink more water,I figure that’s something I can handle.I also want to do better with my attire.You see Charles is NOT a shirt and tie kind of guy.I’m going to try to do a pair of dockers maybe once or twice a month,and give the jeans a break.BUT.Man I love wearing jeans,(and sneakers,baseball caps,etc) .Pray for a brother.

Big shout out to the folks who donated toys to help the kids at W.A.L.K.I.N.I put a little of the video on this site.Didn’t want to go overboard.I also put a picture of our tree on here.Teresa and Cocoa love this  skinny little tree.It cracks me up.Take a look at it and tell me what’s up.

I am really looking forward to the holidays.Homecooked food,seeing all of my peeples,and football  24-7.Life is good.I don’t know if it’s just me or not,but it seems to be calmer,low key,this year.That’s cool with me.I feel blessed to be here.It’s been a rough year for most of us in one way or another,so no need to trip.Just be happy,at least for the reason for the season.So you didn’t get that Wii.So what? Go to a REAL tennis court.

I was grinding yesterday,going through all of the pictures of Cash4Clothes,so I didn’t get anything on the website until last night.I’m sorry about that,I’ve got more stuff to show you.For now please enjoy these shots of the wonderful fo;lks who showed their support sat.Including ms.cocoa butter from the family.It was really touching to see  errbody coming out in the rain and wind carrying those bags .There were so many people who refused the money,and asked us to donate it  instead.There were so many folks who brought well over 10 items for their $10.It was a beautiful thing to be a part of and I want to thank each and err one of you who came out.It was God working.There are folks at the salvation army’s centers around the 757 who’s lives will change for the better because of you.  AND I WANT TO THANK MY BIG BROTHERS FOR HAVING MY BACK.Cause it’s hard for a big dude to find clothes.

Man.I had a great Thanksgiving.I ate too much,watched way too much football,and loved err second of it.Got leftovers for days,life is good.How was your holiday?I hope you got a chance to chill with family.I hope you got a good meal.

Wow,it’s raining,it’s cold,and I’m a little tired,but today is a beautiful day.My raiders won a game yesterday.A game no one thought they would win.They played Cincy, number one team in the division at the time.I was just watching cause they were on.They’re not on much ya know.I, like the rest of the world was shocked when they won.I know a lot of folks are saying “big deal” well yeah it is man.If you were really hungry you wouldn’t sweat  if it was BK.Mickey d,Wendy’s,7-11,etc.You just want some food.

I wish I had the words to tell you how my heart has been touched by the c.b.c.d.The clothes are coming in faster than I can get them out,BUT HEY,I’m not complaining don’t stop.It is a blessing.The folks at military circle are joining forces with 95-7 rnb on the weekend of dec.4 from 12-2.They’re giving you  Cash for Clothes.Get $10.00 for your gently used clothes.I’ve got more details on the way so stay close.

How was your weekend?Watched a lot of football and chilled at kazmos.I also ate too much.The temptation of a burger,man it’s hard.I got my first one in about two weeks yesterday,it  was pretty good.Today I thinking about fish.But I could go for some good baked ,fried,or grilled fish errday.

Listening to a coworker talk about love today.I was like wow,why are relationships so difficult.There must a hundreds of books on the subject.It’s like weight loss,and drugs.I don’t think “they “want you to get better.There’s more money in division than unity.

It doesn’t matter if your man,or woman won or lost.If you voted,you did your job.A few days ago in d.c. they honored the first black sen.Mr.Brookes who is in his 90’s now.In his address he talked about how vital it is for the folks in washington to work together.I hope somebody hears that brother.

My brother sent me some more pictures of my nephew.I’ll have them posted soon.Little dude is growing up so fast.
